Nikwax Sandal Wash™ is a specially formulated cleaner designed to address the challenges that come with maintaining non-waterproof footwear such as sandals, sports shoes, insoles, and footbeds. Over time, these items can harbour sweat, body oils, and dirt, creating a breeding ground for bacteria, and leading to unpleasant odours and material decomposition. Regular use of Sandal Wash™ helps to eliminate bacteria, and freshen, and deodorize your footwear, extending its useful life and keeping your feet more comfortable.
How to Use
- Preparation: Dampen the surface by rinsing the item with clean water to remove loose dirt.
- Application: Shake the Sandal Wash well before use. Break the seal of the brush applicator by pressing it and apply the cleaner generously over the targeted area. For extremely dirty areas, use a stiff nylon brush like a nail brush to scrub.
- Rinsing: Rinse well with clean water to remove the cleaner.
- Drying: Allow the footwear to dry naturally at room temperature. To absorb excess moisture, stuff paper into the toes, replacing it when wet. Avoid direct heat sources such as fires and radiators, as rapid drying can damage the footwear.
